The Lassen Backpack, inspired by and tested during the ascent to Northern California's Lassen Peak, is a MOLLE-compatible and CCW-enabled tactical backpack with a volume of 1800 cu. in. / 29L. Departing slightly from previous Maxpedition packs, the Lassen Backpack utilizes YKK molded tooth zippers, made with individually injected, self-lubricating elements for long-term, low-maintenance use.

Each pack comes equipped with a sheet frame featuring a user-shapeable aluminum stay for added support. The frame and stay can be separated and/or removed for significant weight reduction. Expandable bottle holders on both sides can accommodate hydration or other long/narrow objects, such as tripods. The thoughtful design prioritizes comfortable carry and ease of access.

An adjustable and removable waist belt provides stability for a variety of body sizes. Additionally, the backpack features a large exterior loop field, allowing users to attach name tapes or their favorite morale patches. The overall volume of the Lassen Backpack is 1769 cubic inches / 29 liters.

Inside, the pack offers various internal pockets, expandable bottle holders with bungee retention, and a dual side-accessible CCW compartment. The MOLLE webbing enables the attachment of accessory pockets, while the loop field on the front provides a surface for adding morale patches.
