The main feature of the FR-1 Pouch is its modular webbing system. The front has 2 rows of 2.5" wide channels, while the sides have 2 rows with 1 channel each. This allows for the attachment of various accessories, such as the optional #9501 1.5" or #9502 2" shoulder strap, depending on your preference. The #9905 5" TacTie is another optional accessory that can be used for attachment.

The FR-1 Pouch is constructed using high-quality materials, including 1000-Denier water and abrasion-resistant ballistic nylon fabric with a Teflon fabric protector for grime resistance and easy maintenance. The zippers and webbing are made of high-strength materials, and the seams are taped and finished for added durability. Stress points are double-stitched, bar-tacked, or "Box-and-X" stitched for enhanced strength.

Cleaning the FR-1 Pouch is a breeze. The Teflon-treated fabric can be simply wiped down with a damp cloth, and the pouch should be allowed to dry naturally. Machine washing and the use of detergents or bleach are not recommended.
