The Maxpedition #0230 ROLLYPOLY BACKPACK is an ultra-light backpack weighing only 8 oz. and featuring their sequential folding pouch design. The backpack is finished with a triple coat of polyurethane for water resistance and a final coat of DuPont Teflon Fabric Protector to repel the elements. Only the best components and designs are used in the construction of this bag.
Exclusively using complete YKK zippers and slides, unlike competitors who use generic zippers with YKK slides, the ROLLYPOLY BACKPACK is built to last. Military-grade nylon webbing is incorporated for the straps, handles, and modular attachment points, while genuine, durable buckles and hardware add strength and functionality.
Starting with large, unsealed panels of 1000 Denier Nylon, the bag is meticulously reinforced at each stress point with composite thread. No unnecessary seams or polyester parts are used in the design.
The main compartment measures 16" x 11" x 2" and features a drainage grommet at the base. When folded, the backpack measures 4.5" long x 4.5" wide x 2" thick. An inner pocket measuring 7" x 5" provides additional storage, and the total volume of the backpack is approximately 350 cu. in. An integral closed loop belt, fitting up to a 3.5" belt, is also included.
